Heating and Ventilation
MITSUBISHI AND FUJITSU HEAT PUMPS AND ZENDER HRV/ERV
Precision Temperature Control Technology
-
The MUZ-FH12NAH condenser is equipped with inverter technology and an electronic linear expansion valve. By adjusting compressor speed and refrigerant flow, the unit matches output to the zone for precise temperature control and improved efficiency.
i-see Sensor 3D
-
The sensor monitors the floor and ceiling of its zone for occupancy and fluctuations in temperature. If it detects an underserved area, the unit will temporarily adjust airflow. If it doesn’t find human heat signatures, it will enter energy saving mode.
H2i Technology
-
Low or negative ambient temperatures don’t bother the MUZ-FH12NAH. It is rated for 100% heating capacity at 5 degrees F and continues to provide heating in outdoor conditions as low as -13 degrees F.
Advanced Filtration System
-
A catalyst-coated filter is the first defense against odors. A second deodorizing filter utilizes a ceramic surface element and platinum nanoparticles to absorb smells. An enzyme-based anti-allergy filter captures and destroys bacteria and particulates.
Integrated Base Pan Heater
-
The factory-installed base pan heater prevents condensate from freezing and damaging the unit in frigid climates as well as saving you time and money from costs accumulated by an installer adding a base pan heater later.
Smart Set
-
Smart Set allows you to save cooling and heating profiles, each consisting of a temperature, a fan speed, and an airflow direction. These profiles can be activated easily with a single press of the Smart Set button on the remote controller.
Dehumidification
-
When the indoor unit is run in dry mode, the coil’s temperature stays just below the dew point of the return air, removing unwanted moisture. This improves comfort and reduces the chance of mold growth and other property damage in the conditioned space.
Advantages
-
Vapor Variable: Low Class II vapor retarder in winter (<0.13 Perm), protects against condensation, and maximum vapor openness in summer (13.2 Perm) to facilitate rapid drying to the interior in summer. Protects the assembly during construction high humidity periods (>70% RH) with a DIN 68800-2 compliant, Hydrosafe value of 1.6 permsWorks with wide range of insulation materials, including Gutex wood fiber and cellulose dense-pack, Havelock wool, stone wool, fiberglass, and many others. The semi-translucent material allows dense packed blown-in insulation to be inspected after installation.
PHI Certified Class A Passive House Component
-
Pro Clima Intelligent Airtight system (TESCON VANA tape, ROFLEX gaskets etc) allows for fast, reliable installation
- 10 year comprehensive Pro Clima warranty
Zehnder HRV and ERV
Zehnder provides high-efficiency Heat Recovery Ventilators (HRV) and Energy Recovery Ventilators (ERV) to ensure optimal indoor air quality and comfortable living for energy-efficient construction. There are suitable devices for single-family as well as multi-family homes. In addition, the devices can be used for small commercial applications, classrooms, nursery school facilities, and retirement communities. The systems are used in both retrofit and new construction projects. Learn more about HRVs here.
